EQUiTrail is the ultimate trail riding app for horseback riders. EQUiTrail offers real-time access to trail maps that you create as you ride. Once you create and save your favorite trails, you can bring them anywhere you and your horse go. Explore local trails and use EQUiTrail to track your ride and share your favorite trails with other riders. Follow the trails you create or trails other riders share with you.

Map Features
-EQUiTrail tracks your location in the background for hands-free use while riding.
-Use annotations to place trail markers on the map or identify natural obstacles, cross country jumps, dangerous terrain, or a favorite lookout point
-Use EQUiTrail to capture photos on your trail rides and display them on the map
-EQUiTrail is also great for tracking hikes, runs, bike rides, snowmobile trips, and motorcycle rides.
Saved Map Features
-Save your EQUiTrails to access trail data later, including photos, distance traveled, average speed, and the duration of the ride.

If I could give no stars I would. Every time I have tried to use this it loses my trail after just a short time. Especially when I try to take a photo along the trail. Can I send it back??
does not work without service worthless on my trails going back to Free app map my walk very disappointed
I downloaded this app as Im an avid endurance trail rider. I watched the demo first but the app kept closing without provocation. After logging 2 hrs worth of waypoints, photos and route, it closed on its own and I lost everything. I kept trying then gave up. Going back to a competitor version. This isnt reliable, doesnt offer metric units, and doesnt provide the equine users any real distinction. Overall very disappointing!
One in three times it simply triangulates the distance and doesnt follow your actual tracks, goes as a crow flies. My Tracks is a much better app for a fifth of the price and it has yet to fail.
So excited to have found this app. Tried some other ones but wasnt very happy. I used this one for hiking and cross country skiing and was super happy with it. Very accurate! The $ spent is worth every penny.
